Secrets, Fire and some Shoo

My daughter likes this poem.

She wanted me to print it so she could hang it on her wall.

I posted it instead.

the most difficult to forgive is a treacherous betrayer of secrets

remembrance of the treachery

kerosene on an already burning fire

embers floating like fireflies

shoo it away

shoo, fly shoo

dismissing the flames and the ensuing smoke

the kerosene with such an odor

a foul smell that continues to linger

the stench cannot be escaped

constant whiffs, flaming the cinder

distilled petro on clear combustion

continued manipulation for self preservation

like fire crackling in the dry woods

never more than a few days of relief

ready to consume at a given moment

the most difficult to forgive is a treacherous betrayer of secrets

If you are feeling a little heated now, for any reason, try some elegant dress.
It has worked for me over the years and it can work for you too.
It is hard to be raging at anything when dressed up in beautiful clothing.
Display your true beauty by surrounding yourself with sartorial forgiveness.

See you next time,
